We have adapted bikes, trailers and baby seats for all children and a variety of easy to a bit tougher cycling programs. Our guide and the driver of our escort vehicle will take care of you and your children all along the way.

Ensuring that they will be fed, watered, sun-screened and photographed during the ride.

Itinerary

Day 1 : SIEM REAP (HOTEL)
Arrive Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel. Welcome cocktail. Night in Siem Reap.

Day 2 : SIEM REAP / ANGKOR (HOTEL)
By bike you will go to the South Gate of Angkor Thom to discover the walls of this ancient city still buried in the forest. Elephant ride to the temple towers with the 4 faces, the Bayon.
Visit Angkor Thom “the great royal city “. Departure by bike to Preah Khan. Cycle through the forest on trails to the small isolated temple Ta Nei. Continue to the Takeo temple and finish with the visit of the Ta Phrom, the famous temple bound by massive roots of huge trees. At evening, attend the Lighthouse circus show. Overnight at hotel Siem Reap. (20 km cycling (baby seat, tandem or trailers available) and escort vehicle. (B,L)

Day 3 : ROLUOS – CHAO SREI VIBOL (HOMESTAY)
Departure for the countryside through the villages. Visit of the Roluos with it’s famous Bakong mountain temple. Discover by bike some little-known small temples .On the old Royal road you explore the galleries of the crumbling temple Chao Srei Vibol and its pagoda.
Hide and seek between the Apsaras , the huge trees and forgotten stones , picnic and relax in the hammock. Bivouac in a traditional Khmer house . ( 1 hour walk ) (B,L)

Day 4 : BENG MELEA – KBAL SPEAN – BANTEY SREI (HOTEL)
Departure to the lost temple of Beng Melea , miniature of Angkor Wat. Hunt treasure in dedalles of Suryavarman through the arcades, galleries, gopuras swallowed by the roots of the huge kapok trees . Departure by vehicle to the River of the Thousand Lingas , discover by foot the bed of the carved River (XI century) . At the cascade, have a bath. ( 1:15 min. Walk to / +/- 110m ). Continue to Banteay Srei , jewels of the 10th century. Back to Siem Reap. Night in Siem Reap.

Day 5 : SIEM REAP / ANGKOR (HOTEL)
Cycle along the river to reach the West Angkor Wat. Back in town for lunch. Transfer to the isolated temple of Banteay Samré , visit the temple and walk on the dike of the Eastern Baray to discover the villages. Arrival at the Royal Basin Srah Sang. For the sunset balloon ride (fixed Balloon, only possible under good whether conditions.) to see Angkor Wat and the Western Baray. ( 15 km cycling/1 hour walk ). Hotel in Siem Reap. (B,L)

Day 6 : Tonle SAP (HOMESTAY)
Ride along the Siem Reap River toward the Tonle Sap Lake to watch the daily life in the villages. Each year, the water level of the Tonle Sap, the Great Lake of Cambodia, varies from 4 to 8 m and floods all the land and forests of this region (August to January). We can enter with wooden dugout canoes the inundated forests. Or when the waterlevel is low , we can discover the floating villages and navigate up to the Sangker River, along the bird reserve Prek Toal. Visit other lakeside villages with their fishing technique, ponds and farms of crocodiles. Bivouac in a lake house with the locals. (15 km cycling). (B,L,D)

Day 7 : SIEM REAP- BATTAMBANG (HOTEL)
Early morning we get a transfer with the bikes to the port to take the boat. We navigate up the Sangker river across a varied landscape with typical stilt houses. Late afternoon we arrive in Battambang. Hotel in Battambang. (B,L)

Day 8 : BATTAMBANG (HOTEL)
Visit of the Vat Ek temple of the XI century and traditional Khmer villages along the river. Lunch. In the afternoon, sightseeing on the small Bamboo train along the rice fields and visit a village specialised in rice production. Spend the night in Battambang. (B,L)- 30 km cycling.

Day 9 : BATTAMBANG – PHNOM PENH (HOTEL)
In the morning we take the bus to Phnom Penh. We cross the provinces of Pursat and Kampong Chhnang where we stop for lunch.
The name Kampong Chhnang comes from the local clay pots (chhnang) made in the surrounding villages and for which the area is renowned; Kompong means ‘port’, due to its riverside location.
After lunch, we go on a cycling tour to see some of the handicrafts. We continue by bus to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Hotel in Phnom Penh (B, L).

Day 10 : PHNOM PENH (HOTEL)
Visit the Royal Palace built in 1866 by King Norodom. See the different structures of this pagoda-style compound and stroll in its beautiful garden. Visit the Silver Pagoda so named because of its floor that is comprised of 5,000 silver tiles. A gold Buddha encrusted with 9,584 diamonds and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha are also housed here. Continue to the nearby National Museum. Built in 1917 it is an exceptional example of traditional architecture and is exclusively devoted to preserving and displaying Khmer art and sculptures. Hundreds of pieces are housed here including both pre-and post-Angkorian pieces. At evening enjoy cruising on the River for the sunset.

Last shopping before getting a transfer to the airport for your return flight.
